The unwanted New Normal -COVID19

Its a devastating period in the world right now. We are in the era of  "The New Normal" no one knows how temporary this would be though. How have we been coping in these recent times, hope we have all tried to stay safe, those of us working from home, how has the experience been?

For me, its been a mixed feeling era, having to work from home, trying to keep pace with the work by ensuring tasks are handed in at the most appropriate time while attending to home stuff and also attending to school work now that teachers have found a better way to pass on their responsibility(part of).

COVID19 has been around according to reports since December 2019 and has lingered till today 25th April.

Just as of today, we have a total of 2, 822, 003 cases and 197,578 deaths globally. in Nigeria, we have 1095 cases and a total of 32 cases of death. The figures keep increasing and no one knows when we will be free from this pandemic.

We need to continually keep safe, practice social distancing, ensure washing of our hands regularly.

This is certainly the New Normal we need to keep pace with round the world.

We will overcome this period!

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Am a little bit, infact its not a little bit am bitterly concerned and disturbed of the unfortunate trend in our society now. This has to do with the issue of domestic violence that has eaten deep into our society. Domestic violence is now the order of the day and it bothers not only on men these days, even our ladies have followed this part and have become violent at any slight provocation. Domestic violence is a physical, emotional, psychological, financial or sexual abuse this can be within an intimate or family relationship. We will not leave the young ones out as well, we have heard of maids been maltreated and even siblings too.
